US President Donald Trump discussed Poland’s security, drones entering Polish airspace, and his expectations for peace in Ukraine in a Fox News interview.
Trump on Drones and Ukraine Conflict
Donald Trump expressed disappointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating he had ended “at least seven wars” that were thought to be unwinnable. Trump mentioned that he expected making peace in Ukraine to be “easiest” due to his relationship with Putin.
Regarding drones that entered Polish airspace, Trump didn’t determine if they did so intentionally but stated they “shouldn’t be that close.”
US Assistance to Poland
When asked about potential US military aid to Poland, similar to that sent by the UK, Trump replied that the US is helping with intelligence. He mentioned future assistance for ensuring peace after the war.
Poland and Ukraine Cooperation on Drone Warfare
