A mysterious object, resembling a drone, was discovered in a field in the Korsze commune, Kętrzyn county, on Saturday, with police, military police, and a military prosecutor on the scene.

The object was found on a field about 50 meters from buildings in the Korsze commune, Kętrzyn county. The local police were immediately informed and secured the object and the area.

The investigation involves the local police, Military Police, and a military prosecutor. The Military Police’s investigative team from Elbląg and Bartoszyce were sent to the scene. The spokesperson for the Military Police confirmed that actions were taken to secure the object and the area.
The object was found on damp, unused land, and the area was cordoned off and supervised.
Possible Connection to Previous Drone Incidents
The authorities have not confirmed if the object is one of the drones that entered Polish airspace during the Russian attack on Ukraine on the night of September 9-10. Earlier, drone parts were found in several voivodeships, including the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
