Polish weather forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management predict that October will be relatively warm, with temperatures above the long-term average in most of the country.

According to the forecast, the average monthly temperature in significant parts of the country will be above the long-term norm, while in the northwest, it will be within the norm.
The first week of October is expected to be the warmest in the southwestern part of the country, with the maximum average temperature potentially reaching up to 18°C.
Weekly Temperature Variations
In the following weeks, it will become slightly cooler, with the coldest period expected after October 20, when temperatures will range from 11 to 14°C across the country.
Precipitation Expectations
The monthly sum of atmospheric precipitation is expected to be within the long-term norm in most of the country; however, in the northwest, the sum of precipitation is likely to be above the norm.
Weather Outlook and Potential Storms
Poland is expected to be under the influence of high-pressure systems, which should favor stable weather.
However, local storms and stronger wind gusts in the form of storms are not ruled out.
