Daylight Saving Time Change 2025: When Do We Switch to Winter Time?

In Poland, clocks will be set back to winter time on October 26-27, 2025, and then forward to summer time on March 29, 2026.

The winter time in Poland will start on the night of October 26-27, 2025. During this transition, clocks will be set back from 3:00 AM to 2:00 AM.

The change in time is regulated by European Union regulations and a decree of the Prime Minister of Poland. The current decree is valid until the end of 2026, which means that time changes will continue at least until then.

Some experts argue that the time change can lead to problems with concentration, worsened mood, and disruption of the body’s circadian rhythms. According to Prof. Marta Jackowska, a health psychologist from SWPS University, changing the time disrupts the functioning of the human biological clock by manipulating light availability.

She notes that sleep, wakefulness, digestion, body temperature, and even mood are regulated by our biological clock, which is strictly linked to the availability or lack of light.
