Polish police on September 21 discovered remnants of three drone-like objects in two regions of Mazowsze and one in Lublin Voivodeship.
Mazowsze – Siedlecki County
On the morning of September 21, around 9:00 AM, mushroom pickers found elements of an object resembling a drone in Wodynie, Siedlecki County, Mazowsze. The discovery was made in a forest area, approximately 1 kilometer from the nearest buildings, spanning several dozen meters.
The Mazowiecka Police secured the revealed parts and the site, with the case being supervised by the prosecutor from the Siedlce District Prosecutor’s Office.
Mazowsze – Białobrzeski County
After 9:00 AM, a report was made regarding a second location in a forest in Białobrzeski County. A man noticed remnants of an object resembling a drone; the nearest buildings in Biała Góra were about 6 kilometers away.
Police secured the object and its discovery site, with the Żandarmeria Wojskowa (Military Gendarmerie) and the prosecutor from the Grójec District Prosecutor’s Office being informed.
Lubelskie – Zamojski County
Before noon, another report emerged from Lublin Voivodeship. Around 10:00 AM in Sulmice, Skierbieszów commune, Zamojski County, a mushroom picker found an object resembling a drone lying on the ground in a forest area, approximately 1500 meters from buildings.
The police secured the elements and the site, with services including the Żandarmeria Wojskowa working on the scene; the Zamojść District Prosecutor’s Office supervised the activities.

The police did not provide technical details of the revealed elements or information about their origin. In each location, procedural actions were conducted under the supervision of the relevant prosecutors, with the areas remaining secured until the necessary inspections were completed.
Given the sunny and stable weather conducive to forest excursions, hikers are advised not to approach or touch any found elements or remnants of devices resembling drones but to immediately notify the appropriate services by calling the emergency number 112 and provide a precise location of the find.
