Death of Two Polish Soldiers
Two Polish soldiers, including Karol Rubin, were killed during a nighttime parachute training exercise in the United States on September 19. They belonged to the GROM military unit.
The General Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported the incident, stating that the causes of the accident are being investigated by a special commission.
Tributes and Condolences
The Mayor of Orzysz, where Karol Rubin was from, expressed condolences, remembering him as a legend of the Bieg Tygrysa (Tiger Run) and a brave soldier.
Members of the Bieg Tygrysa and Viking Fight Club also paid tribute to Karol, describing him as a true legend, a warrior, and a patriot with a great heart and smile.
Fundraising Campaign
A fundraising campaign was launched on pomagam.pl to support Karol’s family, who were left without a breadwinner.
The campaign’s founder, Łukasz Makarewicz, stated that the goal was to help the family cope with the daily struggle to survive.
