Paweł Galia was born in 1943 in Srock and graduated from the State Higher School of Theatre in Kraków (now the Academy of Theatre Arts). He performed on stages in Wrocław, Kraków, and Warsaw.

Galia was widely known for his roles in TV series such as “Na dobre i na złe”, “Kryminalni”, “Barwy szczęścia”, “Mjak miłość”, and “Zmiennicy”, as well as films like “Zakochani są między nami” by Jan Rutkiewicz. In recent years, he also worked on dubbing, lending his voice to over 100 productions, including “Kung Fu Panda”, “Królowa Śniegu”, “Pinokio”, “Muminki”, and “Shrek Forever”.

The Polish Actors’ Union (ZASP) paid tribute to Galia, calling him a “wonderful actor, lecturer, and meritorious member”. The union’s president, Jan Tomaszewicz, shared that he had met with Galia just days before his passing, highlighting the sudden nature of his death.
