Cause of the Accident
According to the police, preliminary findings indicate that the driver of the delivery truck failed to yield to the passenger car and caused the collision. Both drivers were found to be sober.
Victim and Emergency Response
The 4-year-old girl from the passenger car required immediate medical attention. Emergency services, including firefighters, police, two ambulances, and a helicopter from the Air Rescue Service, were dispatched to the scene. Despite resuscitation efforts, the girl’s life could not be saved.
