A tragic accident occurred on Monday, September 22, at around 1:30 PM in Skarżyn, Węgrow County. A 43-year-old man, a family member of the farm owner, entered the operating area of a combine harvester and sustained severe injuries during corn harvesting operations.
Emergency Response and Investigation
The injured man was transported to the hospital by a helicopter from the Medical Emergency Response Team (LPR). Despite immediate medical assistance, he succumbed to extensive injuries and died in the hospital. The investigation revealed that the man entered the operating area of the agricultural machine during ongoing field work.
