A historic villa in Warsaw’s Ochota district, located at Żwirki i Wigury 25, caught fire on Wednesday at around 18:25, with firefighters still battling the blaze.

The fire had completely engulfed the building by the time the first firefighting units arrived on the scene. Despite efforts to contain the blaze, it has not yet been brought under control, and firefighting operations are ongoing in challenging conditions.

Four firefighting teams, a city operational group, two medical rescue teams, and four police crews are on the scene. The street has been partially blocked, with one lane in the direction of Chopin Airport remaining closed.
