A collision between an Opel and a Renault occurred at the intersection of Marymoncka and Zabłocińska streets on Bielany, with one driver testing positive for narcotics.

Collision Details

On the evening of the incident, around 18:00, a collision occurred between an Opel and a Renault at the intersection of Marymoncka and Zabłocińska streets on Bielany. The crash resulted in one of the vehicles losing its left front wheel.

The participants were examined on the scene by the Medical Rescue Team and did not require hospitalization. Firefighters, medical rescue teams, and police were present at the scene.

Vehicle and Driver Conditions

According to the initial findings, both vehicles were traveling north on Marymoncka Street. After a side collision, the drivers lost control of their vehicles, leading to a skid and significant damage to one of the vehicles, including the loss of its left front wheel.

The police conducted on-site investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident. It was established that both drivers were sober, but the Renault driver tested positive for narcotics, with THC detected. The man was detained.

Incident Description and Response

An eyewitness described the incident: “Two vehicles traveling in the same direction (along Marymoncka Street to the north) collided sideways, the drivers lost control of the vehicles and skidded. One of the vehicles lost its left front wheel.”

The witness also mentioned that emergency services, including firefighters, two ambulances, and police, responded to the scene, and the drivers exited their vehicles on their own.
