Hungary sharply responds to Ukrainian president: “Zelensky is losing his mind”

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto accused Zelensky of irrationality after claims of Hungarian drones violating Ukrainian airspace.

Szijjarto’s remarks

On Friday, September 26, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto commented on X regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement.

Szijjarto wrote, “President Zelensky is losing his mind due to his anti-Hungarian obsession. Now he starts seeing things that don’t exist.”

Zelensky’s allegations

Zelensky reported that reconnaissance drones may have violated Ukrainian airspace, likely of Hungarian origin, near the Ukrainian-Hungarian border.

He mentioned this during a meeting with military commanders, stating preliminary assessments suggest the drones were conducting industrial reconnaissance in border areas.

Zelensky ordered verification of all available information and immediate reporting of any recorded incidents.
