Teenager dies during training session in Płock

A 16-year-old boy collapsed and died during a training session at a sports club in Płock, Poland.

Yesterday at 6 PM, Płock Municipal Police received a report about a teenage boy collapsing at a local sports club. Initial findings indicate the 16-year-old lost consciousness during exercises. Emergency services transported him to the hospital, but he died despite resuscitation efforts.

Police, under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Płock, are investigating the cause and circumstances of the death. Documentation and collected evidence have been handed over to the prosecutor’s office.

“The report to the Municipal Police Command arrived yesterday after 6 PM. Preliminary findings show the 16-year-old collapsed during training at a Płock sports club. He was taken to the hospital but died despite resuscitation. Police, under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Płock, are investigating the cause and circumstances of the death. The materials have already been handed over to the prosecutor’s office,” the Płock Municipal Police stated.
