The Gniezno County Police Command reported the incident occurred on Friday around 3:40 PM in Niechanów, Gniezno County. Preliminary findings indicate the Citroën driver failed to yield, causing a Mercedes traveling toward Gniezno to collide with it. The 46-year-old Mercedes driver suffered a broken arm, while the passenger and the Citroën driver sustained no serious injuries.

According to media reports, the Mercedes was driven by actors Karolina Gorczyca and Krzysztof Czeczot. They were performing in the comedy play “Optimists – Or We in Egypt” as part of a nationwide tour. The performance in Gniezno, which was expected to attract many viewers, was canceled at the last minute due to the accident.
