A serious road accident occurred around 6 AM on Odrowąża Street in Targówek, leaving four people injured, two in critical condition.
Collision with tram pole
A driver of a Skoda car, used for blood transport, veered off the road for unknown reasons and struck a tram traction pole. The vehicle carried four passengers being transported for dialysis.
Emergency response
One passenger suffered a cardiac arrest. Firefighters and medical rescuers performed resuscitation. After several minutes, vital functions were restored. All four individuals required hospitalization, with two in critical condition.
Investigation and aftermath
The Skoda driver was sober. Police conducted on-site investigations to determine the exact causes and circumstances of the accident. The rescue operation involved four fire brigades, a city operational group, and five medical rescue teams. One lane towards Żaba Roundabout was blocked due to the incident.
