A crash involving two cars and two trucks on the S8 near Oleśnica (Lower Silesia) killed two people and left others injured.
Rescue operation and casualties
A helicopter from the Air Ambulance Service (LPR) was dispatched to the scene of the accident, which occurred on Saturday, September 27, around the 52nd kilometer of the S8 highway near Oleśnica in Lower Silesia. The collision involved two passenger cars and two heavy trucks, with a total of eight people traveling in the vehicles. Two individuals trapped in one of the cars died, while two others were unconscious and transported to a hospital. The condition of the truck drivers is unknown.

According to RMF FM, shortly after the initial crash, three vehicles collided near the opposite lane heading toward Wrocław. One person was injured in that incident. Both directions of the S8 highway are currently blocked, with traffic disruptions expected to last until around 15:00.
