Russian Drones Headed Toward Poland, Zelensky Says Ukraine Shot Them Down

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that 92 Russian drones were intercepted before reaching Poland.

Ukrainian Air Forces reported shooting down 97 of 115 drones launched by Russia in the early hours of Saturday, September 27.

According to preliminary data, the air defense systems neutralized 97 enemy drones, including Shahed and Gerbera types, across northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine by 9:00 AM.

Zelensky’s Statement

President Zelensky stated that Ukraine intercepted 92 drones heading toward Poland, as reported by Reuters.

He did not specify the exact time of the incident.
