A sailor has gone missing, with the last contact made on Thursday. Since Friday evening, rescue teams have been searching near Rybitwia Mielizna for the missing sailor from the yacht “Chimaera.”
Sebastian Kluska, director of the Maritime Search and Rescue Service, stated that the sailor had expressed a desire to return to the ports of the Tri-City on Friday. The rescue operation involves the rescue ships “Sztom” and “Wiatr,” the BSR Władysławowo, police, the Maritime Border Guard, and a rescue helicopter.
