A serious road accident involving a car and a truck occurred shortly after 6 AM on the S17 near Trojanów, Garwoliński County.
Collision details
A Honda driver likely fell asleep at the wheel and collided with the back of a truck. Three Ukrainian nationals were in the car.
Rescue operations
One passenger was trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free her and handed her over to medical teams. The woman, in critical condition, was airlifted to a hospital by the LPR’s “Ratownik12” helicopter.
Traffic and investigation
Four fire brigades, two ZRM teams, and an LPR crew responded. The road toward Warsaw is fully blocked, with traffic diverted. Police are investigating the causes of the accident.
