Warsaw Joins European Week of Sport with Free Activities and Fitness Tests

Warsaw offers free sports events, fitness tests, and family activities across the city from 23 to 30 September 2025.

Free Workouts and Fitness Events

Warsaw is participating in the European Week of Sport #BeActive. From 23 to 30 September, residents can choose from hundreds of free activities, including general fitness, martial arts, athletics, and water-based exercises. Some events require prior registration, and participants should check equipment requirements with organizers.

Outdoor and Indoor Activities

The program includes both outdoor and indoor events. The highlight will be the BeActive Night at AZS AWF Warsaw on 27 September 2025, featuring activity zones (rowing machines, kickboxing, taekwondo, athletics, and safe fencing) as well as healthy aging, nutrition, and clean sport areas. Participation is free, but registration is required due to limited spots.

Benefits of Physical Activity

Regular exercise improves cardiovascular and respiratory fitness, supports the musculoskeletal system, and helps maintain a healthy weight. It reduces stress, enhances concentration, and boosts immunity. Even short, daily sessions of 30 minutes yield measurable health and psychological benefits, while community events strengthen social bonds. The European Week of Sport is an opportunity to try different forms of exercise and find one to incorporate into a weekly routine.
