When Will the 2026 Military Qualification Take Place?
On August 27, the Ministry of National Defense issued a regulation regarding the conduct of the 2026 military qualification. The qualification period is scheduled from February 2 to April 30, 2026. The announcement of the qualification will be made on January 16, 2026. Each person subject to the call-up will receive a specific date for their appearance. If there is no possibility of appearing on that date, one must immediately contact the calling authority. During the qualification, each person will be assigned a fitness category, and their data will be entered into the register.
Who Will Be Covered by the Military Qualification?
The 2026 military qualification will follow the existing rules, meaning it will include:
Individuals exempt from the obligation to appear in person include those for whom total incapacity for work in agriculture, total incapacity for work and self-sufficiency, or those classified as persons with severe or moderate disabilities, have been determined.
