Democrats released a third batch of Epstein-related documents, including records of calls, flights, and financial transactions.
Third Batch of Epstein Documents Published
On Friday, September 26, Democrats from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released the third set of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. These documents include phone call logs, flight records, passenger lists, financial ledgers, and Epstein’s daily schedules. The materials made public reveal information about Epstein’s contacts with figures such as Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, and Prince Andrew.
Key Findings in the Documents
The documents show that Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon had scheduled meetings with Epstein, while Elon Musk is documented as traveling to Epstein’s island. Prince Andrew is listed as a passenger on Epstein’s plane, and financial records suggest payments made to massage therapists on behalf of someone identified as “Andrew.” The committee received a total of 8,544 documents in this latest release.
Trump’s Response to Epstein Documents
In early September, President Trump threatened legal action over “New York Times” articles about an indecent family letter sent to Jeffrey Epstein. In July, Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to release documents from the Epstein grand jury proceedings, responding to pressure from his supporters demanding more transparency in the case.
The Epstein Case
Jeffrey Epstein was accused of facilitating interactions between prominent individuals and underage girls. In July, the FBI and the Department of Justice stated there was no “client list” of Epstein’s and that his 2019 death in a New York jail was a suicide. Critics, however, point to Donald Trump’s close and frequent ties to Epstein.
