Warsaw will host the 47th Warsaw Marathon and Warsaw Dycha on September 28, 2025, with major street closures, parking bans, and public transport detours.
Event Details
The 47th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon and the accompanying Warsaw Dycha will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The marathon starts at 9:00 AM from Świętokrzyska Street, while the Dycha begins at 9:45 AM. Street closures and parking restrictions will be in effect throughout the day.
Traffic and Transport Changes
On September 28, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, parking will be prohibited on all streets along the race route, including Sapieżyńska Street. Additionally, parking will be banned on Świętokrzyska Street between Marszałkowska and Emilii Plater from Friday to Monday (until 1:00 AM).
Participants can use public transport for free on Sunday. Numerous tram and bus lines will operate on detours, with some lines running on shortened routes or suspended during the event. Detailed detour routes are available on the Warsaw Public Transport website.
Event Locations and Attractions
The start and main event area are located on Świętokrzyska Street and in Świętokrzyski Park near the Palace of Culture and Science (PKiN). The organizer has set up a Marathon Fan Zone, cheering points along the route, and children’s activity zones.
On Saturday, September 27, a Mini Marathon, Expo, and fan zone will be held near PKiN.
