Drunk driver with multiple bans crashes, lands on side—man was wanted

A 31-year-old Ukrainian man lost control of his Dacia Logan, flipping it onto its side while driving under the influence.

Accident details

A drunk driver with a history of traffic offenses caused a crash after losing control on a curve, rolling his car onto its side with two passengers inside.

The 31-year-old Ukrainian man had nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system and was subject to three court-imposed driving bans, including a lifetime restriction. He was also wanted under a warrant issued by a court in Radzyń Podlaski for prior drunk driving offenses.

Arrest and sentencing

After his arrest, the man was detained in a police cell before being transferred to a correctional facility to serve a seven-month prison sentence. Police are continuing their investigation into the accident, with the court to determine further consequences.

Public appeal

Police urge all road users to exercise caution and follow traffic regulations, warning that reckless driving endangers not only the driver but also passengers and other road users.
