A fire broke out on a lot with heavy trucks in Kamieńszczyzna, prompting an immediate firefighting response.
Firefighting efforts
Firefighters quickly initiated extinguishing operations, deploying two water jets and two foam streams. Thanks to their swift and coordinated actions, the fire was soon brought under control and no longer threatens other objects.
Fifty-nine firefighters participated in the operation, with a total of 13 fire brigade teams on-site. They conducted fire suppression and monitored the burn site until all fire hazards were completely eliminated. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters’ statement
The County Command of the State Fire Service in Sochaczew issued a statement about the fire. “On Sunday, September 28, a few minutes after 2 PM, we received a report of a fire in a warehouse with heavy trucks in Kamieńszczyzna (Rybno commune). Upon arrival, it was confirmed that heavy trucks, trailers, and a shipping container with workshop equipment on the lot were burning,” wrote the Sochaczew KPP. According to the report, “the fire was declared under control 20 minutes after the first fire truck arrived.”
