Police visited Zbigniew Ziobro’s house in Jeruzal on Monday to enforce a court order for his appearance before the Pegasus inquiry.
Police Attempt to Enforce Court Order
Around 6 AM on Monday, September 29, police arrived at Zbigniew Ziobro’s residence in Jeruzal to enforce a court decision requiring his attendance at the Pegasus investigative committee hearing.
Officers rang the intercom at the gate but received no response. Aneta Placek, a spokesperson for the Skierniewice police, confirmed the attempt, stating, “We have a full plan for today and will follow it.”
Ziobro’s Response and Travel Plans
Zbigniew Ziobro announced he would fly to Warsaw on Monday around 10 AM, departing from Brussels at 7:50 AM.
In a Sunday interview with TVP24, Ziobro criticized Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński, urging him to stop sending police to intimidate his relatives, including his mother in Krynica and neighbors in Jeruzal.
Upcoming Hearing Before the Pegasus Committee
The Sejm’s Pegasus investigative committee is scheduled to begin its session at 10:30 AM, with Ziobro’s testimony as the sole agenda item.
The committee has previously attempted to summon Ziobro nine times, but he has ignored all requests. On September 16, the Warsaw District Court ordered his detention and forced appearance before the committee.
