Surprise Weather Forecast: Sudden Heatwave, Up to 25°C Expected

The Polish Institute of Meteorology and Water Management predicts a sharp rise in temperatures, with some areas reaching 25°C in early October.

Monday’s Forecast

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management forecasts that on Monday, September 29, maximum temperatures will reach 9°C in the east, around 12°C in central Poland, and 16°C in the west. It will be cooler in the foothill regions, with temperatures between 7°C and 9°C. Thunderstorms may occur in the southeast, with rainfall totals of up to 10 mm in some areas.

Weather for the Coming Days

Meteorologists expect maximum temperatures to average 10-13°C across most of the country in the coming days. It will be slightly warmer in the west and northwest, around 15°C. In the afternoon and east, temperatures may drop below 5°C in some areas.

Forecast for Early October

Significant warming is expected during the weekend of October 4-5. The portal TwojaPogoda.pl reports that in the eastern half of the country, temperatures may reach 17-18°C in some western areas. It will be even warmer in the following days, with temperatures in the east, south, and central Poland potentially reaching 23-25°C on October 11 and 12.
