First of Its Kind in Russia
The school, formed by the charity Dobro i Delo with a governor’s grant, opened its doors on 26 September. It targets students aged 13 to 18, beginning with pupils from the Western District. The program runs for eight to nine months.
What Students Will Learn
Courses are free and cover basics of drone assembly, piloting, and 3D printing. Instruction uses both real aircraft and simulators. Admission is selective, based on fine‑motor and technical aptitude tests. Instructors are experienced trainers and former special‑forces participants.
Future Demand for Drone Skills
Mayor Yeghnij Naumov says that knowledge of drones meets high demand across construction, agriculture, and military fields. He stresses the hope that the skills students acquire will be useful in a peaceful future.
