Music Media Company, linked to Alexander Lukashenko’s son‑in‑law, sold STV the rights to an entertainment programme of six months. The transaction brought in 3.7 million Belarusian rubles (≈ €1.07 million). Production of a single episode cost more than 108,000 rubles (€31 k).
New Show Set to Feature Officials in Karaoke Battles
The proposed programme, titled “Friday Noise”, will premiere on RTR‑Belarus on October 10. It will host a karaoke contest in which employees of state enterprises compete for cash prizes.
Rodion, son of singer‑fan Oleg Gazmanov who publicly backs the Ukraine war, will host the show. SVT advertises the programme with the quote: “We open the doors to a world where raw emotion wins over perfect hearing…”
Company Ties to the Lukashenko Family Explained
Anna Lukashenko, the president’s daughter‑in‑law, runs Music Media Company and is also known as Seluk. The enterprise is registered with the Palace of the Republic (30 % stake) and ANSL Production (70 %).
ANSL Production, formally owned by Andriy Vrublenski (95 % stake), serves as a deputy for Dmitry Lukashenko, Alexander’s son. Rublenski once headed a tennis club under the Presidential Sports Club, directed by the president’s son.
