Murder of 70‑Year‑Old in Sulejówek

Police were called to a private property in Sulejówek, Masovian Voivodeship, on September 25 after a phone report of a body. The deceased, 70‑year‑old Henryk G., was found hanging. The scene was described by the prosecutor as chaotic with traces of alcohol consumption.

Investigators Identify Suspect

The autopsy concluded that Henryk G. died by hanging. Over the course of the investigation, prosecutors gathered evidence leading to the arrest of Adam P., a local resident who had shared a drink with the victim on the day of the incident.

43‑Year‑Old Faces Murder Charge

On October 3, prosecutor Adam P. received charges of murder under article 148 § 1 of the Polish Penal Code. He pleaded guilty, and on October 4 the District Court in Mińsk Mazowiecki ordered his temporary imprisonment for three months. The crime carries a minimum sentence of ten years, potentially life imprisonment.
