A flatbed truck model “gruszka” overturned into a roadside ditch on county road W3054 near the village of Poczernin, Płock County, after 10:00 a.m. today. The 58‑year‑old driver was taken to hospital.

Overtake Maneuver Gone Wrong

Police say the driver was coming from Cempkowo when another truck equipped with a boom was approaching from the opposite direction. Both drivers pulled onto the shoulder to pass each other, but the “gruszka” driver veered too far off the road, losing stability and rolling into the ditch.

Injured Driver and Medical Response

The 58‑year‑old Mercedes driver suffered injuries and was transported to a hospital by emergency services. No other casualties were reported.

Police Investigation

Investigators are examining the sequence of the pass on the W3054 stretch near Poczernin. Early reports suggest loss of balance on the shoulder during the maneuver was the cause.
