On 6 August, during the swearing‑in ceremony of Karol Nawrocki, reports surfaced of a row at Warsaw’s House of Representatives. The tabloid *Rzeczpospolita* detailed the incident unfolding in the parliamentary hotel.

Among the celebrants was MP Dariusz Matecki, who, together with other MPs, reportedly sang loudly in the House’s restaurant. Further Details Revealed

Witnesses say that KO senators, including Tomasz Grodzki, approached the singing MPs, leading to a heated exchange and the intervention of the Marshal’s Guard. Matecki confirmed in an interview that the PiS MPs “just sang,” while KO senators report vulgar insults and aggression. Senator Agnieszka Kołacz‑Leszczyńska stated: “They told us to w*********.”

The *Dziennik* noted that the guard was called twice as a response to the incident. “We left before 23:00 and I don’t know how it finished. The case is now before the parliamentary ethics committee,” the senator added. Grodzki said, “Looking at the amount of alcohol at their table, there is no doubt they were under influence.” Matecki countered that he has not touched alcohol in a year because of his cancer battle.
