From 20:00 on October 10 until 04:00 on October 13, road workers will close the second lane of Grochowska street between the Wiatraczna roundabout and Podskarbińska street, affecting local traffic.
Closed lane and detours
During the works, the lane heading toward Targowa street from the intersection with Wiatraczną will be shut from the Wiatraczna roundabout to the intersection with Podskarbińska. Drivers exiting Grochowska at the Wiatraczna roundabout must turn left on one lane toward Zakole or turn left on two lanes; only a straight exit is allowed from Wiatraczną. From Międzyborska only a right turn is permitted.
The closure will cut connections to Kaleńska, Siennicka and Podskarbińska streets. A detour via Washington Avenue and Zieleniecka Avenue will be provided, and drivers can also use Terespolska, Stanisławowska, Dwernickiego and Wiatraczną to reach Podskarbińska. An alternate route follows Zamoyskiego, Lubelska, Bliska and Żupnicza streets.
Access to properties
Residents at Grochowska 230 and 234 can still reach these addresses from the Wiatraczną side of the repaired section of Grochowska. Addresses 262 and 272 are not affected by the restriction on the final stretch of Podskarbińska.
Bus route changes
Lines 135 and N03 traveling to Hallera Square and Winnica will use the Wiatraczna roundabout and run via Wiatraczną, Dwernickiego and Terespolska streets throughout the weekend. On Friday evening, line 125 will follow a similar path. Saturday and Sunday, the line to the National Stadium will be shortened at Międzylesie, terminating at the Wiatraczna roundabout.
Line 311 heading toward Kamionka will also pass the Wiatraczna roundabout, then continue through Wiatraczną, Dwernickiego and Podskarbińska to the loop. Night lines N21 and N71, heading to Central Station, will avoid the closed section via Stanisławowska and Terespolska, while those bound for Pogodna and Woli Grzybowska will go through the Wiatraczna roundabout and onto Szaserów via Wiatraczną.
