Woman Killed in Racibórz; Partner Confesses, Then Denies Murder

A woman was found dead in Racibórz on Monday, October 6, and her partner, Przemysław W., turned up at police, first admitted to the killing before later denying it.

Incident and Police Response

Police received a call in the evening of October 6 that a woman had died in an apartment in Racibórz. Officers arrived to find the body of Natalia K.

Confession and Denial

Przemysław W., 44, came to the police station, allegedly admitting to the murder. He later denied any involvement, claiming he had killed the 31‑year‑old himself.

He was taken into custody and, on Thursday, presented before a court that ordered a three‑month pre‑trial detention. The prosecutor, Agnieszka Bukowska, noted his refusal to give statements.

Forensic Findings

A post‑mortem of Natalia K. was conducted, and investigators found traces inside the apartment suggesting a brutal killing.

Family Context

The couple had an 18‑month‑old son, who was not in the apartment at the time of the police arrival and was staying with his grandparents unharmed.
