On Saturday, October 11, police in Podkarpackie announced the tragic end of the search for 14‑year‑old Maja from Rzeszów and 15‑year‑old Wiktor from Sanok County. The teenagers were reported missing by their parents the previous day after they left school. Police said that intensive search operations involving officers, firefighters and rescue teams with dogs from the Rzeszów Civil Rescue Teams with Dogs STORAT had been underway.
Bodies Discovered
Maja was last seen contacting her family around 6 p.m.; her phone has remained inactive. A notification of Wiktor’s disappearance was received by the County Police Command in Sanok. Police established that the teens had met in Rzeszów’s city center and found their bodies on Saturday afternoon. Officers are carrying out necessary procedures on site.
