At 9:09 a 42‑year‑old woman driving a Peugeot lost control and crashed into a bus stop and fence at the Wrzosowa‑Napoleonska intersection in Glinianka, Poland.

Accident at Glinianka Intersection

At 9:09 a traffic incident was reported at the junction of Wrzosowa and Napoleonska streets in the town of Glinianka (Otroków county). The 42‑year‑old driver struck a curb and subsequently lost control of her vehicle.

Crash Details

The car travelled several dozen metres before colliding with the bus‑stop vestibule, then a fence, and finally a parked vehicle on the opposite side of the road.

Alcohol Level and Police Action

A breath‑alcohol test revealed 3 promille. Police detained the driver and she was transported to a hospital for further examination. No pedestrians were injured.

Emergency Services Respond

Firefighters, rescue medical teams, and police attended the scene. The road was blocked while emergency acts were carried out.

Community Safety Concerns

Local residents warned that the intersection is hazardous because the STOP sign is poorly visible and motorists regularly exceed the speed limit in the school zone.
