Pavilion Fire in Mokotów Allotment Garden

At 18:50 on Jan III Sobieski Street in Mokotów, a 6 × 6‑m pavilion in the Sobieski Family Allotment Gardens caught fire but was quickly extinguished, leaving no injuries.

Fire Breaks Out at Jan III Sobieski Street

At 18:50 on the evening of October 12, a pavilion in the Sobieski Family Allotment Gardens caught fire on Jan III Sobieski Street, Mokotów.

Firefighters Quell 6 × 6‑m Pavilion Fire

Responding units immediately found the structure, approximately 6 × 6 metres in size, aflame. They applied water streams, extinguished the source within minutes, and then battled remaining embers.

Subsequent work included cooling the remaining hot areas and inspecting the charred remains.

Traffic Disruptions and Police Presence

Three teams from Rescue and Fire Unit No. 9, together with police, formed the response. During the firefighting operation, one lane toward Wilanów on Jan III Sobieski Street was blocked, causing local traffic congestion.

Cause Remains Unclear

Investigators have not yet determined the cause or circumstances of the incident.
