On Monday, Oct. 13 at 11:42 a.m., a Fiat bus crashed and overturned onto the road’s side at the Węzła Lotnisko intersection, triggering an emergency response.

A Fiat brand bus moving along S79 from Marynarska Street and turning onto S2 toward Puławska suddenly left the road and tipped onto its side at the intersection of Węzła Lotnisko.

Emergency Services Deployment

Two fire brigade squads, a medical rescue team, and police arrived on the scene shortly after the incident. Firefighters secured the area and erected a safety cordon around one traffic lane of the overpass to facilitate safe operations.

Bus Occupants Uninjured

The vehicle carried two men who were examined on scene by the medical team. Both were found unharmed and remained at the accident site while witnesses were questioned.

Roadworks and Traffic Management

After the rescue work concluded, the road‑maintenance lead, working with firefighters, repositioned the bus onto its wheels. Traffic was then allowed to proceed in a single lane at the scene.
