Police Intervention on 29 July 2025
At the address, officer Asp. Marcin Korek spoke with the resident and asked about the circumstances. The woman denied any fight or violence, claiming only a verbal dispute with her husband, who was not present at the time.
Medical Assessment
During the visit a 42‑year‑old woman was observed with marked leg swelling and difficulty walking. An ambulance was called and she was transported to hospital for further examination. Police visited the hospital the next day and requested assistance from the local Social Assistance Centre due to the woman’s health and the elderly status of co‑habitants.
No Missing‑Person Report Filed
Police stated that the findings from the intervention did not indicate any crime against the woman and that no prior police actions had been recorded at the address. No missing‑person notification or other troubling signals concerning the family were received by the municipal police command.
Investigation Underway
The police claim that preliminary findings do not support media reports of prolonged custody, and the Blue Card procedure was not initiated. A criminal investigation is being conducted by the Świętochłowice Criminal Department, and the collected evidence has already been forwarded to the prosecution.
