President’s Office Budget Surges to Record 325.5 M PLN for 2026

Poland’s Presidential Office announced a 2026 budget of 325.5 million PLN—its highest ever—boosting foreign travel funds to nearly 5 million PLN.

Record‑Breaking 2026 Budget

The presidential office confirmed that its 2026 budget will exceed 300 million PLN for the first time, reaching 325.5 million PLN—a daily allowance of about 892 thousand PLN.

Significant Surge in Travel and Salary Funds

Nearly 5 million PLN is earmarked for President Karol Nawrocki’s domestic and international trips, a 50 percent rise from the current year. An additional 11.4 million PLN is allocated for salary increases, totalling 75 million PLN for personnel.

Operational Upgrades and Cybersecurity

The budget includes a 10.4 million PLN boost for ongoing expenses, justified by the need to enhance data protection in the office’s IT systems.

International Policy Office Funds Reallocated

The allocation for the International Policy Office has been reduced almost to zero; its 2026 funds will flow directly into the presidential office budget.

President’s First Overseas Visit in 2025

In February 2025, a month after taking office, President Nawrocki flew to Washington and Rome‑Vatican, meeting President Trump and discussing energy, economy, defense, and affirming Poland’s strong ties with the US.
