A 50‑year‑old woman from Gdańsk vanished after leaving her home with a mixed‑breed dog, despite the plan to go only to a nearby shop.
Initial Disappearance
At around 8 p.m. on Thursday, 50‑year‑old Małgorzata Kulwikowska left her apartment on St. Stanisław Dąbka in Gdańsk’s Ujeścisko district with her mixed‑breed dog Serafinka.
She intended to visit a nearby shop but never returned, prompting relatives to inform the police later that evening.
Physical Description
The woman is roughly 170 cm tall with a slim build, black shoulder‑length hair and blue‑grey eyes.
On the day she vanished she wore black leggings, a dark waist‑high jacket, white sneakers with thick soles, and carried a black duffel bag.
Possible Sightings
Neighbors report she was seen near the bus loop on Wieżycka Street and possibly again on 11 October in the Chełmski Passage, accompanied by dogs wearing handcrafted harnesses.
Her phone was reportedly dropped during a 48‑second call with her partner, after which the line was abruptly cut.
Family Appeal
Julia and Dominika, her daughters, released an emotional appeal: “Mom, if you can read — reach out to us, please. You need not fear to explain. The most important is your safety.” They also noted that grandchildren await her and that she has never disappeared before.
Police Request for Public Assistance
The I Police Commission in Platynowa Street reports that investigators have yet to determine what happened and that the woman has not contacted her family.
Police urge anyone with information to come forward and provide details that could help locate her.
