A small dog escaped the Wawrzyszew metro tunnel and is now awaiting an owner at Warsaw’s Paluchu shelter, according to local police.
Occurrence at Wawrzyszew Metro
On Tuesday, 14 October, local police received a report that a small dog was roaming the tunnel of the Wawrzyszew metro station before 19:00.
Ekopatrol’s Rapid Response
Ekopatrol officers headed to the site and found the dog had already reached Wilson Square. They were able to catch the agile animal.
Dog Lacks Identification Chip
Police checked the dog with a special sensor, but it carried no identification chip. The animal was healthy, though visibly frightened by the experience.
Awaiting an Owner at Paluchu Shelter
The dog was transported to the Paluchu shelter, where it remains waiting for its owner or caretaker.
