Hotel Fire Breaks Out Near Kozienice
A blaze erupted on the night of Wednesday to Thursday in Mniszew, a village in Kozienice County, Masovian Voivodeship. The hotel, together with its restaurant, was engulfed, consuming about two‑thirds of the building. No injuries were reported, as nine occupants had already evacuated the premises on their own.
Origin of the Fire
Firefighters determined that the fire ignited in the attic; preliminary investigations indicate that the roof covering was the initial source. Press officer Wiktor Czubaj confirmed that the blaze was contained and had not spread further.
