On a Tuesday, Warsaw police conducted a coordinated raid in the 11 September Street area of Praga Północ, arresting a drug dealer, his assistant, and several customers.

Coordinated Planning

The operation was jointly planned and carried out by the criminal squad of the Operational and Reconnaissance Department of Praga Północ and the capital’s Intelligence Patrol Department. Prior to the raid, a detailed analysis of the local drug scene was conducted.

Targeted Arrests

Police seized a dealer and his partner along with four other individuals in possession of drugs. A 36‑year‑old woman and two men aged 31 and 45—who bought drugs from the address—were also arrested. A 24‑year‑old associated with the same circle was detained after finding marijuana in his car.

Seized Illicit Substances

During the search of the stairwell and corridor, officers found two black boxes containing pre‑packaged drugs attached to a radiator, a third box with white powder in a nightstand, and in the dealer’s apartment an object resembling a firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition.

All arrested persons were taken to the crime command at Jagiellońska for examination by a police technician. The 36‑year‑old, the 31‑year‑old, the 45‑year‑old, and the 24‑year‑old were questioned at the Criminal Investigation Laboratory and charged with possession of illicit substances, facing up to three years of imprisonment. The 52‑year‑old dealer and his 23‑year‑old assistant were presented to the Praga Północ District Prosecutor’s Office where they were charged with drug trafficking, illegal firearm possession (dealer), and aiding drug trafficking (assistant), each facing up to ten years in prison.
