Cyclist Crushed in Lanes; Man in Serious Condition, LPR Helicopter on Scene

Incident Details

A cyclist riding on a single track crossed a pedestrian crossing, also known as a zebra crossing, without a traffic signal, and was struck by a Toyota passenger car. The cyclist remained on the bicycle at the time of impact.

Emergency Response

The cyclist sustained severe injuries and was air‑transported to a hospital in Warsaw for treatment.

Units Deployed

Firefighters, a medical rescue team and a helicopter from the Rescue Air Service (LPR) were dispatched, along with the police, to the scene.

Road Closure

The traffic lane was closed for nearly three hours while authorities cleared the area and investigated the collision.
