Early‑morning collision on the S7

Mitsubishi loses control
Drivers reported that the Mitsubishi driver had noticed lane‑change signage on the road under construction. In an attempt to avoid newly placed cones, he turned sharply, lost control, hit a barrier, and was propelled into the Warsawbound lane.
Chain collision and overturn
In the grazing path, the Mitsubishi collided with a Seat driven by a 33‑year‑old woman from Płońsk, then struck a Scania truck with a trailer (driver 27 years, Elbląg). It struck a second Scania (driver 36, Kętrzyn) and a Volkswagen carrying two passengers. The Mitsubishi overturned and came to rest on the Warsaw‑bound shoulder.
Aftermath and police warnings

The 36‑year‑old truck driver had a revocation notice on his heavy‑vehicle licence. The Mitsubishi driver received a PLN 1,100 fine and 10 penalty points for creating a traffic safety hazard. Police urged drivers to exercise caution on the still‑under‑construction stretch of S7 toward Warsaw.
