Ukrainian drones attacked strategic sites in Russian‑occupied Crimea, reportedly damaging several energy facilities and fuel depots at a refinery. Local online reports cited explosions near a fuel storage complex in the Hwardijśke area close to Simferopol.

Russian Fighter Jet Crashes, Crew Safe

During the scramble to repel the drone attack, Russian aircrew destroyed their own Su‑30SM fighter. An anonymous Telegram channel linked to Russian aviation said a fire broke out in the cockpit, but the crew ejected safely.

Night Drone Raid on Central Ukraine’s Krzywy Róg

Later that night, another mass drone assault struck Krzywy Róg, a town in central Ukraine. Local authorities reported at least ten injuries and urged residents to seek shelter. The city is known as the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky, who posted that recent weeks have seen nightly Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.
