Referencing the Ukraine conflict, he stressed that neither Poland nor Europe can outsource security or compromise production sovereignty, insisting a clear hierarchy of priorities must be re‑established.

He praised Poland’s economic gains, noting the country is catching up to the UK and that more Poles are returning while more British consider living in Poland, adding that next year Poland’s GDP per capita will match Japan’s.

Tusk called for decisive border defense, criticized populist threats, urged a tough stance on sovereignty, and warned that treating Ukraine purely as an ally without caution would lead to disaster.
