Earlier this week, three dogs belonging to a former policeman fatally bit a 46‑year‑old man in a forest near Zielona Góra. Reports indicate the animals had previously behaved aggressively and the owner had faced prosecution for earlier attacks. The case is being investigated by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zielona Góra, where prosecutor Ewa Antonowicz noted the decision to take over was influenced by the owner’s former police status.
