Police responded after a wild party at 58 Marszałkowska Street, where glass bottles were hurled at officers and a patrol car collided with a passenger vehicle during the drive.
Police Arrival and Loud Party
After midnight, police from Śródmieście intervened at a tenement on 58 Marszałkowska Street, where a loud party was being held on the 5th floor. During the arrival of another unit, a collision occurred between an OPP patrol car and a passenger transport vehicle at the intersection of Marszałkowska and Wspólna, injuring five people, including four officers; three officers have already been discharged from the hospital.
Glass Bottles Thrown at Responders
As the response team approached the scene, glass bottles flew from the windows toward the police. One bottle struck a pedestrian on the head; he was transported to hospital for tests, with injuries deemed non‑serious.
Plethora of Partygoers and Investigation Initiated
More than forty individuals were found inside the venue. All were identified and subsequently called to appear for questioning. Investigators determined the apartment was rented via an app and are seeking to establish the tenant’s identity and the events that transpired.
Patrol Car Collision and Further Injuries
The collision at the Marszałkowska and Wspólna intersection left four police officers injured; three of them have already left the hospital. Police continue to clarify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
